My first perfume was Love’s Baby Soft.

It didn’t last long on my adolescent vanity. Around the time I discovered mascara, I took my first heavenly whiff of Chanel No.5 perfume.

I was immediately smitten. Wearing it was better than the sexy black dresses deemed too adult for my teen image.

These days I have graduated to other equally potent Chanel scents but my daughter has inherited my beloved No.5. Some thing are meant to last.

But will the classic scent endure this abysmal new ad featuring Brad Pitt?
